You mention gold-standard methodologies. Can you speak about your process? A: Our Process is not any different to what you will find in any reputable firm. Search has been around for 50 plus years. I would like to think that certain standards apply - a detailed understanding of the role based on a thorough review with stakeholders, identification of core competencies, definition of success factors -these are to me a given. Where we do differ is in our careful attention to context and the inter-relationships of the team and a dialed-in approach to targeting. Q: Context, team and targeting sound pretty straight-forward too. A: Again it’s a matter of emphasis. Skills, aptitudes, prior successes can all be gleaned from a resume. It’s a given that your top candidates can do the job. The question is will they be able to replicate their success in the context and within the constraints of the way your organization, in fact, ecosystem, work. Answering that question with certainty is one of our primary objectives. |
